Job Description
PharmaEssentia is seeking a highly motivated Senior Computational Biologist to join the Data Science team. This role involves applying advanced OMICS-oriented analytical methods, statistical modeling, and ML/AI to accelerate discovery and decision-making in support of their expanding research programs. Collaboration with Immunology, Translational Science, and Biologics teams is essential for building sophisticated algorithms and predictive models.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science or a related quantitative field
- 3+ years of experience in combining bioinformatics/computational biology analysis with cutting-edge computational approaches
- Expertise in multi-omics data analysis
- Proficiency in Python and R, familiarity with database management
- Strong understanding of drug discovery and development
- Experience in a therapeutic area relevant to oncology and immunology
