26/27 Special Education Teacher

The PLA Special Education Teacher will develop and provide specialized instruction to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities, while creating a supportive and effective learning environment.

Requirements

• Develop and adapt individualized teaching methods
• Perform assessments and observations to determine student needs
• Identify student needs and develop related lesson and teaching plans
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student
• Collaborate with classroom and homeroom teachers
