(Senior) Financial Accountant / Controller

We are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant/Controller to strengthen our Finance team. The role is open-cut and can be tailored depending on experience and qualification. The focus is on operational financial accounting, with the prospect of actively participating in the digitalization and further development of Finance processes.

Requirements

• Completed commercial training or studies in the field of business administration, accounting, finance, controlling, or comparable qualification
• Several years of relevant professional experience in financial accounting, ideally with a controlling connection
• Secure in operational accounting and confident in handling accounts, postings, and reconciliations
• Experience with common ERP or accounting systems, as well as very good Excel skills
• Structured, reliable, and independent working method
• Analytical understanding and affinity for numbers, combined with pragmatism
• Interest in digitalization and process optimization in the finance sector
• Very good German skills, English skills an asset
• Willingness to participate regularly in Greifswald (every 2-3 weeks)
