Job Description
Persistent Systems is seeking an IT Support Engineer to support their geographically dispersed user base. The role involves administering PCs, printers, servers, and related equipment, responding to user inquiries, managing hardware/software, and automating workstation setup. The ideal candidate will provide proactive support and expert assistance to users.
Requirements
- Provide helpdesk support and resolve issues for end-users
- Monitor and respond quickly to requests through the IT helpdesk
- Document and update internal technical procedures and How-To guides
- Automate and manage Windows and Linux workstation setup and deployment
- Support the onboarding of new users
- Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses
- Assign users and computers to proper groups in Active Directory
- Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades and maintenance releases as required
