Job Description
Perry Weather is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to take ownership of quality and security enablement initiatives. This role involves building infrastructure, processes, and security tools to ensure reliable and safe software delivery. You will also act as a backup for the Lead Platform Engineer, ensuring platform stability and scalability. The company prioritizes innovative weather safety solutions and a collaborative culture.
Requirements
- Design and implement automated testing frameworks, CI/CD gates, and secure-by-default infrastructure components.
- Define best practices for test coverage, automated checks, and secure development.
- Serve as backup to the Lead Platform Engineer for managing and evolving Azure-hosted infrastructure.
- Collaborate on improving CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions, including deployment workflows, secrets management, and environment configurations.
- Participate in our on-call rotation (up to 7 weeks/year)
