Job Description
Peraton is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Systems Engineer to support its work with the Department of Defense (DoD). The role involves building and deploying cloud instances and applications within an Agile framework, providing system engineering support throughout the project lifecycle. Peraton offers a challenging environment within a highly talented team, contributing to mission success for a variety of stakeholders.
Requirements
- Associates degree and/or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in a Systems Engineering related field (or 8+ years in Computer Science/Engineering + 6 years in Systems Engineering)
- Top-Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI
- Direct experience with Linux and Windows-based operating systems
- Experience with Ansible for automation and system configuration
- Experience with OpenShift, Azure, Citrix XenServer Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization, and/or VMWare
- Operating System administration skills for RHEL 7.x and above
