We are seeking a Sales Manager for our Industrial Gases/CCUS market line. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing, developing, and maintaining sales and marketing activities within their region. They will build and maintain strong relationships with customers, key accounts, and Sales Offices throughout the sales process.
Requirements
- Deliver the sales AOP (annual operating plan/annual sales plan) for the SGS Industrial Gases/CCUS market line
- Manage opportunities in the CRM system (Salesforce)
- Collaborate with the Global Sales Process Leader to ensure the sales process is followed within the team
- Work with the Market Line Manager/Sales Leader to set strategy for the sales organization
- Foster cross-functional cooperation with Technology, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Legal, and ensure teamwork and collaboration during the sales process
- Achieve the SGS IG/CCUS assigned sales region goals and growth targets
- Stimulate market demand to maximize turnover and profit
- Continuously identify potential and opportunities in new markets along with Regional Sales & Service Teams, Marketing, and the Market Line Manager
- Initiate and follow up on the Technical Sales Review (TSR) and contract review process
- Review customer requirements, project/bid/RFQ specifications, and application information to determine the best technology offering
- Manage the development of project proposals with detailed scope of supply, process guarantees, and pricing
- Cooperate with the Proposal Team SGS and other sales support functions for proposal calculations
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to determine delivery times for customers
- Travel to meet with regional sales organizations and customers as needed
- Interact with Sales Managers of other Pentair product categories
- Represent Pentair in industry associations, exhibitions, forums, etc.
