Systems Engineer - Mobile

As a Systems Engineer - Mobile, you will work with a team of experts to develop, maintain, and support cutting-edge mobile device community and Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.

Requirements

• Act as a consultant to the business regarding mobility best practices
• Design, develop, and maintain mobile systems architecture for optimal performance and scalability
• Manage or co-manage and coordinate the implementation of multiple projects that have department or division-wide implications and impact
• Provide technical direction to IT support staff
• Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure for the organization
• Installs, configures, and tests operating systems, application software, and system management tools
• Ensure the highest level of systems and infrastructure availability
• Support and maintain the security of the devices, connectivity, authentication
• Plan and execute DR testing and maintain detailed documentation of the MDM infrastructure
• Participate in the long term planning of the mobility environment and perform periodic reviews of maintenance contracts
• Participate in after-hours tasks such as on-call responsibilities and organizational outage windows
• Develop, implement, and maintain internal policies & procedures
• Ensure proper asset management, including life cycle management and related documentation
• Plan, acquire, and coordinate installation of in-house and remote hardware and software across the organization
• Participate in research and make recommendations on server products, services, protocols, and standards in support of server procurement and development efforts
• Design system field test cases, generate test reports and recommend areas of optimization
• Work within a team and take responsibility for high bandwidth wireless system architecture
• Meet with suppliers to select core technologies
