Material Control Analyst

Penske Logistics is seeking Material Control Analysts to join an excellent team. The role involves coordinating all processes and functions of a department, providing visibility to management, and tracking, auditing, researching, and troubleshooting operational issues. This position offers a shift in two 12-hour shifts, Monday-Friday from 7pm-3am and Friday/Saturday 6am-4pm, with flexibility to meet customer demand.

Requirements

• Use computer to enter records and generate reports.
• Weigh or count items for distribution within plant.
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions.
• Complete daily logs.
• Identify cost savings opportunities for the customer.
• Track shipments to ensure shipment deadlines are met.
• Follow processes that are set by engineering and assist with the implementation of any process and transportation design changes.
• Handle reoccurring analysis and tasks driving continuous cost savings initiatives.
• Meet customer deadlines and develop metrics dashboards.
• Inspect current processes and implement or recommend improvements.
