The ideal candidate has over 10 years of experience as a senior-level editor and will be responsible for managing a team of reporters and editors, upholding editorial standards, and contributing to revenue-generating franchises.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience managing a newsroom as a senior-level editor
• Proven ability to handle breaking news
• Familiarity with the day-to-day work of both editors and journalists
• Comfort setting and maintaining a weekly pub schedule
• Willingness to define and enforce Sportico's high journalistic standards
• Understanding of the changing nature of digital publishing
• Ability to delegate and organize the newsroom to optimize efficiency and ability
