Job Description
The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Penn State University is seeking a full-time Instructor or Assistant Teaching Professor to begin in August 2026. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in communication sciences and disorders. A master's degree or PhD in speech-language pathology or communication sciences and disorders is required. A background check is also required.
Requirements
- Master's degree or PhD in speech-language pathology or communication sciences and disorders
- American Speech-Language-Hearing Association certification in speech-language pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior teaching experience at the post-secondary level
- Experience and expertise in one or more of the following areas: Evaluation and treatment of individuals with organic disorders, Vocal hygiene and evaluation and treatment of the vocal mechanism
