Field Engineer In Training

PEG, LLC is a diverse energy efficiency, engineering, environmental, and management consulting firm operating in the Eastern and Central United States. The company is searching for motivated individuals to become certified HERS Raters and perform Home Energy Audits in accordance with RESNET Guidelines.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree or Vocational Certificate in the Skilled Trades Industry
• 2 years of work experience in HVAC, home remodeling, or construction
• Must be physically able to fulfill job functions, including lifting up to 50 lbs, carrying equipment, climbing ladders, work in confined spaces (attics/crawl spaces), and using small tools and testing equipment
• Must be personable, enthusiastic, well-groomed, articulate, and able to convey technical information in plain language
• Must be adaptable as audit/inspections will fluctuate with client construction schedules
• Must be organized, dependable, self-directed, and able to complete projects with limited supervision
• Must be willing to obtain additional certifications/licenses as required
• Valid driver’s license in good standing with insurable driving record
• Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel daily to job sites
• Must be willing to undergo a background check and/or drug testing, in accordance with local law/regulations
