Job Description
Paystone is seeking a Test Automation Architect to define and scale test automation frameworks and practices for a growing engineering team. This is a senior role focused on architecting systems, writing code, and mentoring engineers, with a focus on scale, reliability, and automation.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering and test automation experience in SaaS or distributed systems
- Proven track record architecting and scaling test automation frameworks in production environments
- Deep hands-on expertise with Jest, Playwright (or similar frameworks) and strong TypeScript/JavaScript coding skills
- Experience integrating automated testing into cloud-based CI/CD pipelines
- Strong grasp of advanced testing strategies: TDD, BDD, contract testing, performance, accessibility
