Job Description
Patreon is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to support their rapidly growing platform and foster a positive creator community. The role involves improving infrastructure reliability, implementing SRE practices, advocating for automation, and providing a great user experience for their Creator teams. It’s a remote position with occasional in-person visits in New York or San Francisco.
Requirements
- Experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or backend/infrastructure engineering.
- Proficiency with Python and shell scripting.
- Hands-on experience implementing Site Reliability Engineering practices (SLIs, SLOs, SLAs).
- Knowledge of configuration management with a framework such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Understanding of continuous integration and deployment systems.
- Excellent documentation and verbal communication skills.
- Productive habits, process awareness, and teamwork skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
