Requirements
- Bachelors degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, or equivalent
- 2–6+ years of experience in mechanical design for automation or robotic systems
- Experienced with fixture design, robotic cell layouts, and production automation hardware
- Strong user of SolidWorks, including FEA
- Comfortable producing manufacturing-ready engineering drawings
- Familiar with pneumatic systems, electrical interfaces, and mechanical integration points
- Knowledgeable in machine safety as it applies to mechanical design
- Experienced in working with PDM/PLM systems
- Hands-on and curious about how designs translate to the shop floor
- Communicates clearly, works well across disciplines, and values shared ownership
