Controller

Parent Network of WNY, a nonprofit in Buffalo, is seeking a Controller to provide strategic oversight and planning to the business/administrative operations of the organization. The Controller will develop and maintain sound financial practices, work with the Executive Director and Board, and ensure compliance with federal and state mandates for 501(c)(3) organizations.

Requirements

• BA in accounting or finance; advanced degree (MBA and/or CPA) preferred
• 7+ years of experience managing accounting and financial systems, including nonprofit environments
• Expert understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures
