Job Description
Paradromics is building a brain-computer interface (BCI) platform that records brain activity at the highest possible resolution. The Electrical (PCB) Engineer will transform high-level electrical design intent into complete, manufacturable board designs.
Requirements
- Translate system-level electrical design intent into detailed schematics.
- Select components, evaluate alternates, and maintain component libraries.
- Perform PCB layout for multi-layer boards (6+ layers), including high-speed, low-noise, and RF routing.
- Generate complete release documentation packages, including drawings, BOMs, and revision notes.
- Coordinate with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors; incorporate DFM/DFA feedback.
- Support PCB bring-up, debugging, and characterization using oscilloscopes, power supplies, DMMs, and similar equipment.
- Develop simple test fixtures or scripts to support inspection and testing.
- Contribute to design reviews and document decision-making outcomes.
- Maintain organized design files and version control discipline across projects.
