The Fleet Specialist is responsible for strategic and operational oversight of the company's fleet of vehicles, trailers, tools and equipment. This role involves development of the organization’s fleet management strategy, Capital asset and liquidation efforts, managing inventory, coordinating maintenance and repairs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and optimizing fleet performance.
Requirements
- Develop strategy and supporting policies and processes to maximize profitability to company by purchasing and then liquidating equipment/vehicle assets at the optimal point in equipment lifecycle.
- Ensure all vehicles and equipment comply with safety, emissions, and other regulatory requirements including, but not limited to OSHA, EPA and DOT requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all company vehicles, including registration, insurance, and maintenance history.
