Pacifico Group is seeking a Senior Director of EPC to lead the development of renewable energy projects, focusing on solar and BESS technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred)
- 15+ years of proven experience in building and leading engineering teams, specifically in the design and development and construction of renewable energy projects, with a focus on solar and BESS
- In-depth knowledge of renewable energy technologies, industry standards, and best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess the cost and feasibility of new technologies
- Experience in value engineering techniques to optimize costs and improve energy yield
- Experience in project engineering management, PMP certificate would be a plus
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Experience in project controls during the construction phase, ensuring project execution within contractual budgets and timelines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage external stakeholders
- Experience in managing external consultants and subcontractors
- Familiarity with the renewable energy market and established relationships with leading technology providers and contractors
- Demonstrated negotiation skills with the ability to drive favorable outcomes in technical and commercial discussions
- Strong drafting and contract review skills, with experience in preparing EPC agreements and related exhibits
