Security Engineer - Level 1.5

We are looking for a Security Engineer to join our team at Pacifica Continental, a leading Argentine company in Networking, Cybersecurity, and DataCenter. The professional will play a key role in analyzing, investigating, and mitigating cybersecurity incidents, as well as deploying and supporting solutions to protect our clients from advanced threats and emerging attack techniques.

Requirements

• Problem Resolution: Diagnose and resolve technical incidents in the field, including connectivity problems, network configuration, and security failures.
• Level 2 Support: Provide advanced support to users and technicians, collaborating closely with the rest of the Level 2 and Level 3 support teams for escalations.
• Documentation: Generate and update detailed technical documentation of the activities performed, such as network plans, configurations, and incident reports.
• SLA Compliance: Ensure the resolution of problems within the established service level agreements.
• Incident Analysis: Investigate alerts generated by security monitoring systems, correlate them with suspicious behavior, and prioritize them according to their potential impact.
• Incident Response: Guide the containment, mitigation, and recovery of security breaches, malicious attacks, ransomware, and more.
• Real-Time Security Management: Supervise security tools such as SIEM, EDR/XDR, NGFW, etc.
