Job Description
Programs, sets-up and operates computer numerical control (CNC) Vertical Mills to perform machine functions.
Requirements
- Read and interpret blueprints, planning sheets, sketches, layout, job order and related technical data
- Knowledge of math used in manufacturing and simple gages
- Good attendance and clean safety record
- Extensive Knowledge of Mastercam programming
- Knowledge of 3 and 4 Axis Machining Center
- Knowledge of G D and T blueprint reading
- Knowledge of G and M codes
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask between programming, setup, and verifying part quality
