Sourcing and Procurement Senior Consultant - Infrastructure / Energy & Utilities

PA Consulting is seeking a skilled Sourcing and Procurement Senior Consultant with Transport & Infrastructure or Energy & Utilities sector experience. The role involves delivering complex value-for-money outcomes, advising clients, and supporting their sourcing/procurement processes using innovative approaches. The position is hybrid, with a minimum of 2 days in the office and potential up to 5 days per week working client-side.

Requirements

• Experience in strategic sourcing and/or procurement, including operating model design and supply chain management.
• Expertise in navigating complex procurement processes within asset-intensive sectors.
• Evidence of leading and supporting change or transformation initiatives.
• Strong delivery experience from working on procurement/commercial and strategic sourcing projects.
• Experience in strategic sourcing and/or procurement across works, goods and services.
• Experience in managing supplier service delivery arrangements or improving supplier and sourcing relationships.
• Experience in category management, cost optimisation and spend management.
• Strong interpersonal and team working skills.
• CIPS, MCIPS, IACCM or equivalent sourcing qualifications are preferable.
• Prior consulting experience in a sourcing context is preferable.
• A proven ability to think creatively and commercially to solve complex procurement and sourcing challenges.
