Job Description
Owlet is seeking a seasoned Senior Product Security Engineer to lead and advance their product and application security initiatives. The role requires deep technical expertise across all aspects of product security and secure software development. Experience securing medical devices is a significant plus, and the ideal candidate will be a hands-on security champion.
Requirements
- B.S. in Computer Science, Cyber Security or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud security engineering.
- Deep understanding of OWASP Top 10, secure coding, threat modeling, authentication/authorization, cryptography, and cloud-native application security.
- Strong grasp of NIST CSF and other regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with Data Governance and Privacy.
- Certifications CISSP, CSSLP, GWAPT, or equivalent are a plus.
- Experience with tools like SAST/DAST, SCA, container security, and languages like Python and JavaScript.
