Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician will construct, install, maintain, and repair plant mechanical, structural, hydraulic, or pneumatic equipment. The position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalency and two years of experience in the mechanical field.

Requirements

• Provide support to the Maintenance Leader, Planner/Scheduler, and shift leaders on jobs to be performed.
• Perform PM's as they are scheduled.
• Reports all equipment concerns to their leaders.
• A good understanding of structural, hydraulic, and pneumatic system.
• Basic welding skill preferred but not required.
• Wear all safety equipment necessary for the job and follow all plant safety rules and regulations.
• Ability to rotate shift schedule.
• Work with other employees in a team like manner.
• Notify your supervisor immediately of any accident, near miss accident or on-the-job injury when it occurs.
