The Director of Business Development is a hybrid role that involves frontline sales execution and team leadership. The Director will be responsible for coaching, developing, and managing a team of experienced sales reps to hit department goals, as well as achieving personal sales targets.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience preferred
- Foundational knowledge of digital marketing best practices, strategies, and experience with formal execution of these services
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to identify non-verbal cues from an audience and read the room
- Negotiation skills and ability to navigate prospect objections towards successful opportunities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work with a variety of Team Members and Customers
- Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative Team environment
- Ability to translate quantitative data into actionable recommendations to grow business
- Ability to connect and sell to C-level executives (CEO, CMO, President, VP, Director Level, etc.)
