Quality Engineer

Oshkosh Defense is looking for a Quality Engineer to improve safety, quality, business, and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 1-3 years of related work experience. They will be responsible for validating production processes, promoting SPC and error proofing, and facilitating process improvement techniques. The role requires minimal travel and working in a professional office environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• 1-3 years of related work experience
• Advanced training/experience in the use of statistical techniques and process improvement methods
• Hold a Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt or must acquire within eight months of filling this position
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer certification (or equivalent) required within eight (8) months of filling this position
• MS Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, Lotus Notes e-mail, Visio, Statistical software, and JDE experience is recommended and will be mandatory within three (3) months in this position
