Job Description
OroraTech is developing a constellation of nano-satellites for wildfire detection and weather monitoring. They are seeking a Product Assurance Engineer to join their Canadian office, responsible for product assurance for their in-house infrared payloads and ensuring mission assurance through audits, risk analysis, and compliance. The role involves on-site work in Cambridge, Ontario.
Requirements
- Develop, implement, and maintain Product Assurance Implementation Plan (PAIP) and Software PAIP (SPAIP)
- Maintain QA system compliant with ISO and CSA requirements
- Serve as the designated independent Product Assurance authority
- Support CSA audits, reviews, and milestone gates
- Monitor and ensure flowdown of PA/QA requirements to lower-tier suppliers
- Review subcontractor PA plans and reports
- Support verification planning, test readiness reviews (TRR), and audits
