Automation Engineer

Organon is recruiting an Automation Engineer to join our world-class manufacturing site in Cramlington, Northumberland. In this role, you will support and optimise automated systems within Cramlington’s tablet manufacturing operations.

Requirements

• Design, develop, and maintain automation systems for tablet production processes
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems used in manufacturing equipment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and implement solutions
• Ensure automation systems comply with regulatory and engineering standards
• Validation (CSV) activities for automated systems
• Develop and maintain technical documentation
• Monitor system performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide technical support to operators and maintenance personnel
