OCU Nocturnist APP

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) serving as the Outpatient Care Unit (OCU) at Oregon Health & Science University is responsible for providing overnight care for patients needing extended recovery. They manage a range of surgeries and procedures, provide patient and family education, and collaborate with clinical teams. The position focuses on proactive patient care and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Complete accredited NP or PA program with appropriate degree (MS, MPAS, DHSc, DMSc, or DNP).
• At least 2 years of advanced practice patient management experience in acute or critical care, preferably with surgical patients.
• Current licensure as required by governing board.
• Must have at least 2 years of advanced practice patient management experience in acute or critical care
• Proficient in using computer hardware and software.
