We are looking for a Rock Mechanics Specialist to work at Mina las Cuevas, San Luis Potosí, Mexico. Ensure the safe and continuous operation of the mine by generating reliable information and following established procedures, policies, and guidelines.

Requirements

• Geological Engineer or Mining Engineer
• 2 years in supervisory positions in rock mechanics
• Availability to roll shifts
• Subterranean operation of mines
• Root cause analysis
• Structural geology
• Stratigraphy
• Mineral deposits
• Igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic petrography
• Lithological-structural mapping/levelling in mine interior, with tape and compass
• Rock mechanics, classification systems
