Software Developer 3

This Software Developer 3 role is an integral part of the Oracle Analytics Engineering team, responsible for designing, developing, testing, and delivering new features on the Oracle Analytics Cloud Service. The developer will contribute to product requirements, automation frameworks, secure coding standards, and DevOps activities, working collaboratively with Product Management, technical leadership, and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related major
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Self-motivated and passionate in developing high quality software
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies
• Solid skills in Java software development
• Highly skilled in Linux/System knowledge/Infrastructure as a Service and Shell scripting
• Hands-on experience of one or more Public Cloud infrastructure (eg. Oracle, AWS, Azure)
• Devops mindset to address real-time customer issues in production
• Strong fundamentals and hands-on experience working with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
