The Employment Specialist plays a vital role in supporting student and graduate success by fostering strong connections with employers, alumni, and community partners. This role is responsible for developing employment opportunities, facilitating career development programs, and preparing graduates for job readiness.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in Psychology, Business, Career Development, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in recruitment, business development, or employment services (experience in the Private Career College sector is an asset).
• Strong knowledge of career development theories, employment search strategies, and labour market trends.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, and public speaking abilities.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Computer proficiency in MS Office Suite, Internet research, and email communication.
• Proven ability to build strong partnerships with employers and community organizations.
