The role involves maintaining accurate and timely financial records, preparing and reviewing journal entries, and ensuring all transactions flow correctly into the general ledger. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the global general ledger, preparing journal entries, and supporting global consolidation activities.
Requirements
- Experience as a general ledger accountant or similar role within a multinational or technology-focused organization.
- Strong understanding of GAAP or IFRS, with the ability to apply accounting principles to complex, evolving business models common in the tech sector.
- Proficiency with enterprise-level ERP systems and comfortable working with large, multi-source data sets.
- Advanced Excel capabilities and familiarity with modern data tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or basic SQL.
- Experience with multi-currency accounting, intercompany processes, and global consolidation.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and communicate insights clearly.
- High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
- Experience supporting audits, SOX compliance, or internal control frameworks in a global setting.
