Job Description
Oversees pharmacy technician operations in the IV room and supervises pharmacy technician staff.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 5 years of pharmacy technician experience
- Certified Pharmacy Technician required (CPhT)
- Certified Compounding Sterile Preparation Technician (CSPT) - required within 12 months of hire
- Licensure and/or registration (if required by state)
- Customer service experience
- Advanced level mathematical calculations
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to delegate responsibility
- High level of self-motivation, initiative, flexibility, and ability to work independently and under pressure
