Job Description
Oportun is seeking a Sr. Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud infrastructure on AWS. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Kubernetes orchestration, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and GitOps-based continuous delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
- Expertise in Kubernetes, ArgoCD, FluxCD, Istio, and Renovate.
- Proficient in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with containerization and microservices architecture within EKS using Knative Services.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Grafana Stack and New Relic.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
