Senior Software Engineer

Opala is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build and maintain a safe, reliable, and performant software platform. The engineer will play an essential role in the success of our projects, from the early stages of solution planning, analysis and design through implementations and operations.

Requirements

• Design and implement automated test solutions to ensure software quality, reliability, and performance.
• Partner across the organization and with developers to ensure solutions meet requirements and are testable from the start.
• Write both product and test code to deliver against project timelines and quality standards.
• Design software components (functionality, defect fixes, automated tests) as part of larger solutions.
• Define comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and automation scripts.
• Identify and troubleshoot defects, perform root cause analysis, and propose effective solutions.
• Create synthetic test data to validate functionality in lower environments.
• Contribute to product development as needed, while maintaining a primary focus on testing and test automation.
