Data Engineer

OnTheList is a leading premium flash sales concept in Asia and the Middle-East. The company works to minimize excess stock by turning past-season inventory into sustainable opportunities. As a Data Engineer, you will assist in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and warehouse solutions to ensure reliable access to key business data.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 2+ years of professional experience in data engineering, analytics, or database management
• Solid understanding of SQL and Python for data manipulation and automation
• Familiarity with cloud environments (preferably AWS) and data warehousing concepts
• Exposure to BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Looker Studio, Tableau, or AWS QuickSight)
• Understanding of ETL/ELT principles and experience with tools like Airbyte or similar is a plus
• Knowledge of retail or e-commerce data workflows (ERP, CRM, Shopify) is an advantage
• Strong problem-solving mindset, with an eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team-oriented setting
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus
