The Heavy Truck and Bus Maintenance Technician role is responsible for diagnosing and repairing bus and heavy truck malfunctions in a safe and efficient manner. The position requires a valid 310T heavy truck and bus technician certification or an apprentice in the final year of training, a valid DZ driver's license, and a high school diploma or equivalent.
Requirements
- Hold a valid 310T heavy truck and bus technician certification or be an apprentice in the final year of training in the same trade
- Possess a valid DZ driver’s license
- Hold a high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in computer skills
- Ability to work in a unionized work environment
- Available to work varied shifts
- Commitment to adhering to Ontario Northland’s health and safety standards
- Willingness to accept temporary postings to various locations (Sault Ste. Marie, North Bay, Thunder Bay, and Timmins)
