Job Description
Ontario Northland Transportation Commission (ONTC) is seeking Electricians to maintain and repair locomotives, passenger coaches, and other railway equipment. The role involves electrical, electronic, and digital equipment installation, repair, and maintenance on equipment utilizing blueprints and safety codes. Requirements
- Certificate of Qualification as Electrician (Construction 309A or Industrial 442A)
- Must have served an apprenticeship
- Experience working within a unionized environment
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of safety codes
- Demonstrated ability to work in a safety conscious manner
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Good working knowledge of computers
