OneSpaWorld is seeking Acupuncturists to work on board cruise ships. This is a full-time, commission-based position with a minimum guarantee, room/board, and acupuncture supplies provided. Employees will have the opportunity to travel the world, meet new cultures, and gain experience in their profession.
Requirements
- Valid US state license and/or NCCAOM certification
- Equivalent education to US programs (2,000 hours of classroom and clinical study)
- 2,000 hours of experience
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide acupuncture treatments
- Ability to manage multiple treatment rooms
- Ability to conduct initial consultations and 10-minute consultations
- Ability to publicly speak on Traditional Chinese Medicine topics
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Comfortable working in a sales-oriented job
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Team player
- Basic computer knowledge
- Fluency in English
- Valid passport (within 6 months of expiry from contract end date)
- Completion of Maritime medical exam and be declared fit to work
- Successful completion of training course
