Lead Structural Engineer

We are looking for a highly motivated Lead Structural Engineer to join our Indianapolis, IN team. As a Lead Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for project performance and profit from day one. You will communicate with technical drafting staff, clients, and others outside the project team, prepare preliminary designs for clients, and review building codes to assure proper implementation in design.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Civil/Structural Engineering
• 5+ years of structural engineering building design experience, ideally in commercial construction
• Ability to prepare structural designs for steel, concrete, masonry, light gage steel, and understanding of foundation design
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficiency using Revit independently to create construction level structural drawings is preferred
• Knowledge of analysis and design programs such as RAM Structural System, SAP2000, RISA, or another recognized 3D design packages is preferred
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure, or ability to obtain within 12 months, is highly preferred
