Senior Software Engineer - travelTech (AI-native)

Omio's vision is to enable seamless travel for people anywhere, in any way. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a key contributor in an agile team continuing the transition towards becoming fully AI-native, and play a critical role in identifying and implementing automation opportunities, enabling seamless integrations with hundreds and thousands of transportation providers worldwide.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, preferably in backend or distributed systems
• Strong proficiency in modern backend frameworks
• Experience building and operating scalable, distributed systems in production
• Familiarity with cloud-native technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Hands-on experience with AI tools and developer productivity tooling (e.g. Cursor, Claude, automation tools like n8n, Windmill, etc.)
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, testing, and system design
• Experience working in agile environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
