Environmental Advisor

The Environmental Advisor will provide support and advice to operational teams on environmental and sustainability matters, developing documentation and helping deliver a culture of continual improvement.

Requirements

• Educated to degree level in Environmental Science or Environmental Management
• Practical experience and knowledge of environmental legislation, ecology mitigation, environmental licences and consent applications, and regulator consultation
• Strong knowledge of environmental management and sustainability issues
• Full UK driver’s licence and flexibility to travel
• Ability and willingness to work flexibly from home, office, and site-based environments
• Self-motivated with the ability to motivate staff at all levels
• Effective communication skills (oral and written)
• Ability to establish effective networks internally and externally
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new IT packages as required
• Ability to share knowledge and skills with colleagues and contribute to the development of team capabilities
