Country Sales and Marketing Manager - Wood

Olam Agri is a market leading food, feed and fibre agri-business with a global origination footprint, processing capabilities and deep understanding of market needs. We are looking for a Country Sales and Marketing Manager to lead our wood products business in the region.

Requirements

• Market Analysis: Monitor and analyze domestic and international timber markets
• Contract Negotiation: Negotiate sales agreements with clients, and intermediaries
• Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, distributors, and end-users
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to minimize risks
• Financial Analysis: Analyze pricing structures, production costs, and market trends
• Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior traders and support staff
• Reporting: Generate regular reports on trading activities, market trends, and financial performance
• Business Development: Identify potential business opportunities and partnerships within the timber industry
