Job Description
Okta is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to be a trusted advisor, enabling customers to confidently use their identity solutions. The role focuses on building, deploying, and demonstrating solutions to complex business problems, with a strong emphasis on understanding customer needs and offering tailored demonstrations. This position involves technical expertise, collaboration with sales teams, and driving product growth and innovation within Okta's Identity Platform.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering and solution selling
- Deep understanding of identity protocols (SAML, OIDC, OAuth, FIDO, Passkeys, SCIM, LDAP)
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure/Entra, and GCP)
- Experience with REST APIs and SDKs
- Understanding of identity-related cybersecurity topics
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts and deliver compelling presentations
