The Occupational Therapist will provide patient care services, including ADL training, energy conservation, splint fabrication, exercise, sensory integration, and perceptual/cognitive training, to improve patients' function at home and in the community. This role is within the Acute Rehabilitation department at the University of Oregon, working with patients in a busy medical setting.
Requirements
- Completion of an occupational therapy educational program recognized by the Oregon Occupational Therapy Licensing Board
- BLS Certification
- Limited Permit or Oregon occupational therapy license
- Ability to lift 40 lbs, carry equipment 5 lbs, and walk extensively.
- Knowledge of inpatient medical environments and equipment
- Prior experience in inpatient rehab (SNF, ICU) is preferred.
