Advanced Practice Provider

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) position at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) is seeking a provider credentialed as an NP. The APP serves as a nurse practitioner, providing preventive, primary, and acute healthcare services to patients of all ages. This role involves patient care, education, research, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals. The position is full-time and has a variable schedule.

Requirements

• Support OHSU’s academic missions by participating in program development and assessment.
• Deliver individual instruction to support fellows, residents’ and interns’ learning.
• Initiate and participate in formal research projects.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited graduate school of nursing. Current unencumbered Oregon Nurse Practitioner license with Prescriptive Privileges and DEA license.
• Ability to fulfill responsibilities for the specific role of an Advanced Practice Provider.
• Proficient in the use of computing hardware and software, including personal computing equipment, electronic medical record, word processing and spreadsheet software.
• High acuity patient care experience.
