Job Description
The Auditor of State is searching for an experienced individual to serve as an Assistant Legal Counsel in the Legal Division. The successful candidate will provide legal advice to the administration, financial audit staff, and other departments of the AOS, and participate in transactional work and reviewing or drafting legislation.
Requirements
- Must be presently admitted to the Ohio bar.
- Experience: minimum of 2 years of licensure and continuous legal practice.
- Strong legal research and writing skills; Strong interpersonal communication and public speaking skills; Strong skills necessary for self-directed work including balancing assignments based upon due date and depth of research required; Strong collaborative work skills.
