Job Description
Octane is seeking a seasoned Staff Platform Engineer to lead the building and maintenance of their highly scalable and secure infrastructure. This role focuses on architecting cloud-native solutions, automating infrastructure, mentoring engineers, and guiding best practices across the organization. The company is a leader in the recreational purchase platform, connecting people with their passions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services
- Deep experience with EKS, EC2, and ECS
- Proficiency with AWS CDK and Lambda
- Advanced knowledge of S3 and Glacier
- Expertise with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)
