Job Description
Ocean Capital Holdings Limited is seeking an Internal Auditor to evaluate internal controls, risk management frameworks, and regulatory adherence. The role will play a critical part in safeguarding assets, preventing fraud, and supporting sound financial governance.
Requirements
- Conduct regular audits of internal controls
- Evaluate risk management frameworks and recommend improvements
- Perform detailed transaction testing to identify potential areas of fraud
- Monitor adherence to Canadian financial regulations and industry audit standards
- Develop and implement a formal reporting framework
- Prepare clear, detailed audit reports and present findings to Senior Management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement audit recommendations
- Audit compliance logs, including on-site reviews of companies within the Ocean Capital Group
- Conduct annual reviews of variable pay programs across all Companies
- Deliver training or awareness sessions to internal teams on compliance and risk management practices
- Prepare monthly reporting and analysis of fuel expenses, Moneris fees and mobility fees all using ACL
